COVID-19: THE REMAINING ACI FIELD GRADE I CERTIFICATIONS ARE POSTPONED
ACI CAROLINAS CERTIFICTIONS
As you all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has created havoc for everyone. ACI Carolinas Chapter and ACI International do not want anyone becoming sick because of being in a group of people, or close proximity to anyone.
We have postponed our large certification events because of our concerns about you. We are following the guidelines of Local, State and Federal authorities and medical direction.
We will start holding certifications when we know it is safe and are allowed to do so. It now looks like October at the earliest, or possibly not until next year. When it is possible to start again, we will begin with the Spring sessions, that were postponed first, followed by the Fall sessions. We will notify, through our website and by emails, if you have already registered for a session.
Going forward, the formats will be different from the past. The Field Grade I sessions will have the most changes. We are putting the finishing touches on the new procedures. It will involve on-line learning and review by everyone. The testing for the performance format will be by appointment on exam day. Social distancing, face masks, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required by all registrants.
We thank you for your support during these unprecedented times.
Wm. Kenneth Johnson Jr., PG ACI Carolinas Chapter Certification Chairman
